A national spotlight will soon shine on a state-of-the-art data center developed by TEAM Companies, a leader in world-class data center development in the Upper Midwest. The Inside Business Review (IBR), hosted by Fred Thompson, will feature the company’s Madison Data Center in Madison, Wisconsin, as part of its focus on various issues, trends and technological advances that shape Corporate America. The segment is scheduled to air on Saturday, June 26, on CNN Headline News and FOX.

It runs in the Milwaukee and Minneapolis markets at the following times:

The Inside Business Report focuses on educating viewers on the latest technology and tools available to help companies succeed in today’s ever changing global economy. “TEAM Companies’ data center in Madison is a state-of-the-art example of the latest data storage technology,”said Mark Kittrell, vice president of business development at TEAM Companies. “Every TEAM data center – including our Madison facility – is designed according to the highest industry standards including Tier III, SAS70, and receives a “fail-safe” facility classification. They’re built to protect companies’ vital information and virtually eliminate the chance of catastrophic failure.”

The strategic location of the Madison Data Center also appealed to the Inside Business Review. “The Upper Midwest is statistically one of the safest, most cost-effective areas in the United States for a data center,” said Kittrell. “TEAM Companies has built a network of world-class data centers in this region because the logistics are ideal for providing companies with turnkey global solutions in IT infrastructure and security.”

TEAM Companies is also a recognized leader in “green” IT. The company is a member of The Green Grid, a global consortium dedicated to developing and promoting energy efficiency for data centers by developing standards, measurement methods, processes and new technologies to improve performance.

“Our company has taken the challenge of meeting those standards for measuring data center efficiency, which includes our facilities and the IT equipment inside of them,” said Kittrell. “Our data centers are designed for energy and cooling efficiency, providing minimal impact on the environment and local community. We use special water chillers to maximize cooling efficiency, and invest in cost-effective thermal management to manage waste heat and airflow to minimize energy usage.”

TEAM Companies is also working with Madison Gas and Electric’s Green Power Tomorrow program to help offset up to 100% of the carbon dioxide emissions from electricity use.

Women Build is a Habitat for Humanity volunteer program that gives women the chance to learn construction skills, and to make a difference by building homes and communities.
